J. Collin Summerlin
Collin is an associate in the Atlanta office of CSVL. Collin’s current litigation practice is concentrated on general liability defense, including premises liability, product liability, and automobile liability. Collin also routinely advises and defends insurers on insurance coverage and bad faith actions.
As a member of the Firm’s construction litigation team, Collin counsels contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, and design professionals through a variety of disputes, including construction-related product, premise, and professional liability matters.
Collin earned his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, where he was Staff Editor of Washington University Jurisprudence Review and participated in the Wiley Rutledge Moot Court Competition. Collin attended Brown University, receiving his undergraduate degree in Public Health and Economics. Before joining CSVL, Collin was a contract attorney for an Atlanta-area boutique litigation firm specializing in complex litigation, including business disputes and constitutional and tort cases.
In his spare time, Collin enjoys playing tennis, watching movies, and spending time with his family.
