Laura Wilkes-D’Amato is an associate attorney in the Charleston office of Copeland, Stair, Valz & Lovell. Laura joined CSVL after an almost two-year clerkship for the Honorable Carmen T. Mullen of the 14th Judicial Circuit of South Carolina. During her clerkship, Laura gained invaluable court procedural experience and case exposure, giving her a leading edge in advocating for her current clients.

Laura earned her J.D. from William & Mary Law School. While in law school, Laura served as a Senior Articles Editor for the William & Mary Environmental Law and Policy Review.  Laura received her undergraduate degree in Geology and Environmental Geosciences from the Honors College at the College of Charleston. In her spare time, Laura enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband and their two dogs.
