Ryan Conner, a partner in the Charleston office of Copeland, Stair, Valz & Lovell, concentrates his practice in General Liability and Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith litigation. More specifically, he has vast experience defending automobile and personal injury claims, as well as product and premises liability cases for major national corporations. Ryan also has expertise in complex, multi-party litigation, and property damage cases. Ryan is dedicated to not only preparing any case for trial, but also bringing matters to an early, cost-effective resolution for his clients through motion writing, negotiating favorable settlements, and defending arbitration and mediation efforts.

Prior to joining CSVL, Ryan worked for a highly-respected Charleston area firm while simultaneously teaching legal research, writing and oral arguments techniques, as an Associate Professor at Charleston School of Law.

Ryan earned his B.S in Political Science from Towson University and his J.D. from Charleston School of Law.  After Law School Ryan clerked for the Honorable Mikell R. Scarborough in Master-in-Equity Court, Charleston, SC.
