CSVL is a proud participant in the Georgia Legal Food Frenzy. Sponsored by the Young Lawyers Division of the State Bar of Georgia in conjunction with the Office of the Attorney General for Georgia and the Georgia Food Bank Association, the Legal Food Frenzy is an annual two week event to raise money for needy families throughout the state. According to the fundraiser website, https://galegalfoodfrenzy.org/, 1 in 6 children in Georgia is at risk for food insecurity. For every $1 dollar raised during this event, food banks around the state can distribute $8 worth of groceries! In 2022, the Firm contributed $3,196, representing $25,568 in meals and food to the most needy.
