Binford G. Richardson is an associate in our Atlanta office, focusing her practice on General Liability, Health Care, and Medical Malpractice litigation. Binford hasnearly a decade of experience as a courtroom prosecutor where she earned case management, litigation strategy, and trial skills. She’s tried over 30 criminal cases and managed hundreds more from initial investigation through resolution.

Binford has regularly appeared in Superior and State Courts as a former Special Victims’ prosecutor and is skilled in direct and cross-examination, jury selection, and evidentiary challenges. She’s prepared cases for Grand Jury, handled motion hearings, and coordinated with expert witnesses and investigators. She’s also certified in ChildFirst® Forensic Interviewing.

Binford earned her J.D. cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law, where she was a published member of the Law Review and won first place in the William Daniel Mock Trial Competition. She holds dual undergraduate degrees from the University of Georgia in Psychology and Criminal Justice. She serves as Treasurer of the Rockdale County Bar Association and is licensed to practice in the state of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the United States Supreme Court.

Outside of her legal practice, Binford is an avid runner and hiker, and enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and two dogs, Chubb and Khaos.
