Neethu James is an associate in the Atlanta office, focusing her practice in Trucking & Transportation litigation. She is licensed to practice in Georgia, U.S.A. and India. 

Prior to joining CSVL, Neethu worked as a legal consultant while she attended the University of Georgia School of Law. She was involved in the litigation and arbitration practice of the Firm. She was Graduate Editor for the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law and President of the Tax Law Society while in school and received many merit-based scholarships.  

Neethu graduated from the ILS Law College of Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2009 in the Top 10% of her class. She then practiced law in India, advising Indian and multinational corporations on issues relating to income tax, international tax, goods and services tax, customs law, international trade, and foreign policy trade.  She has developed substantial expertise in advising and representing clients from diverse industries, including e-commerce, information technology, infrastructure and automobile sectors. She’s appeared regularly before high courts and tax tribunals, spoken at conferences, and authored multiple online articles on taxation.     

Outside of her legal career, Neethu enjoys running marathons and reading literary fiction.
