Mary C. Satara is an associate in the Atlanta office of CSVL. She practices General Liability litigation and is admitted to practice in the state of Georgia.

Previously, Mary practiced criminal defense as an assistant public defender. She has represented hundreds of clients in three circuits across the state and has a true passion for advocacy work. She’s proven adept at managing large and revolving caseloads, and most recently, secured two not-guilty verdicts in felony jury trials in 2025. Mary holds multiple trainings and certifications, including the Mental Health Court Participant Advocate Training from the Council of Accountability Court Judges, the Bill Daniel Trial Advocacy Training from the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the Georgia Guardian Ad Litem Basic Training from Georgia Guardians Ad Litem. She is also a proud member of the Stonewall Bar Association. 

Mary graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University in 2017 before attending Georgia State University College of Law, graduating in 2020. 

Outside of her legal practice, Mary enjoys international travel, live music, and spending as much time outside as possible.
