Abby Gerome is an associate in the Charleston CSVL office. She practices Professional & Management Liability litigation and is admitted to practice in South Carolina.

Prior to joining CSVL, Abby was a legal intern, mediator, and case manager. She’s experienced in reviewing and analyzing documents, including contracts, leases, deeds, and title commitments, conducting mediations between disputing parties, and drafting formal agreements for parties who’ve reached a resolution during mediation. As a case manager, Abby prepared and filed motions, discovery requests and responses, and demand letters, drafted liability assessment memoranda, and managed a full caseload of personal injury matters. Abby ensures regular communication with clients, as well as communicating and negotiating with insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and clients to advance each case accordingly.

Abby graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a psychology degree in 2021. She was on the honor roll for eight semesters and Dean’s List for five semesters, and she was a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, the Pre-Law Club, Health for the Homeless Club, and Club Soccer. In 2025, Abby graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law. While in law school she was active in the Mediation Clinic, Business Law Society, Privacy, Security, and Technology Law Society, Family Law Society, and the Student Bar Association.
