Courtney G. Harton is an associate attorney with our Chattanooga office, where she has a primary focus in professional liability and general liability litigation. She is also a member of the Chattanooga Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Technological University and Juris Doctor from the University of Tennessee College of Law. During her studies at the law school, Courtney was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Employment Law, Employment Discrimination Law, Employment Litigation Practicum, Arbitration, and Civil Rights Actions. She took first place as an advocate in the 2020 Advocates’ Prize Competition and won the Powell Prize for Best Oralist. Further, she was the recipient of the Robert L. McKnight Memorial Scholarship in Labor Law. In her free time, Courtney enjoys spending time outdoors and indoors, where she is attempting to perfect the art of cooking.
