Emily Sanders is an Associate in our Charleston office, focusing her practice on Construction and General Liability.  She joined CSVL as a Summer Associate in May 2023 and continued as a Law Clerk. She recently graduated summa cum laude from the Charleston School of Law, where she served as the Symposium Editor for the Charleston Law Review, Co-Chair of the Application Process for the Transactional Law Team, and a Negotiation Judge for the Business Law Society.  Her academic achievements include CALI Awards (Artificial Intelligence & The Law, Federal Income Tax, Property II, Civil Procedure I, Contracts I, and Legal Research and Writing I) and multiple awards for contract drafting. Prior to pursuing her legal career, Emily worked in the textile industry after graduating as a Centennial Scholar from the Wilson College of Textiles at North Carolina State University. Outside of her legal work, Emily enjoys traveling, cooking, spending time at the beach with her Golden Retriever, Birdie, and cheering on the Wolfpack.
