Luke is a seasoned litigator with a broad range of experience. He has represented corporate clients — including national banks, insurance companies, and product manufacturers — in state and federal court across a variety of practice areas. He has also represented individual clients in personal injury matters involving catastrophic injury and death. Luke focuses his practice on general liability defense, transportation, construction litigation, professional liability, and insurance coverage. He works out of the Chattanooga office.

Luke received his undergraduate education from Flagler College where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in English (B.A., 2002). He earned his law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law School where he graduated magna cum laude (J.D., 2009).

Luke is admitted to practice in all trial and appellate state courts in Tennessee, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee, the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Arkansas.

Luke is a Chattanooga native with strong ties to the Chattanooga community and bar. He is a member of the Chattanooga Bar Association, Tennessee Bar Association, and Federal Bar Association (Chattanooga Chapter). He is active in his community, having previously served as the Sergeant-At-Arms of the downtown chapter of the Chattanooga Sertoma Club, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for those at risk or impacted by hearing loss, and is a past President of the Folk School of Chattanooga, a non-profit organization.

Outside of work, Luke, his wife Stephanie, and their children Lillian and Leaf, enjoy paddle boarding, hiking, and exploring Chattanooga and the surrounding area. His single greatest individual passion is the martial art of Brazilian jiu jitsu. Luke trains regularly and believes strongly that the principles learned in jiu jitsu benefit him personally and professionally.
