Michael Yates (Mike) is an associate attorney in the Atlanta office of Copeland, Stair, Valz & Lovell, LLP and is a member of the general liability and the trucking and transportation litigation practice groups. Michael represents and defends individuals, business entities, drivers, motor carriers, transportation network companies, and insurers in a wide variety of civil matters, including wrongful death litigation, cargo-related, and insurance coverage matters. Mike also has experience in a wide range of general liability litigation including automobile accidents, dram shop, and premises liability.

Prior to joining CSVL, Michael worked as a Staff Attorney for Georgia Legal Services Program.
