Saturday, April 27, 2024, CSVL participated in the 2024 Bocce Bash for Special Olympics SC. Out of 130 teams, we lost 12-11 to advance to the Elite 8. This year, Bocce Bash raised $145,000. These funds will provide sports, health, and educational programs for kids and adults with intellectual disabilities around South Carolina. Over the 23 years since its inception, the Bocce Bash has raised almost $1.1 Million for over 30,000 athletes participating in Special Olympics South Carolina activities.

Special Olympics South Carolina provides opportunities for sports training and competitions in 26 different sports. There are over 30,000 adults and children with intellectual disabilities participating in these programs, making it the 6^th largest program in the nation. Special Olympics SC provides over 400 local, regional and statewide competitions annually ad sends delegations around the country and around the world for national and world competitions.
