Health Law and Regulation Update Blog Post by Eric Frisch.

The Georgia Senate passed HB961 to fix O.C.G.A. §51-12-33 and to permit apportionment of damages in single defendant cases. The bill should now head to the Governor’s desk and we would expect it to be signed into law. It is unclear whether it would be retroactive or apply to existing cases at this time.
