Lee Weatherly and Kristen Thompson represented Mrs. Schimaa M. Hashim in a disputed liability motor vehicle accident case filed in Charleston County State Court. The Plaintiff was alleging that the Defendant disregarded a red light and failed to yield the right of way to her, causing the collision. In addition to liability, Lee and Kristen also contested the cause of Plaintiff’s alleged injuries at trial as she had extensive pre-existing conditions. The jury returned a verdict in favor of Lee, Kristen and their client, Mrs. Hashim, within 5 minutes of deliberations.
