Graham Thompson and Andrew Whitten obtained dismissal in Tennessee state court of a lawsuit filed against out-of-state clients in relation to alleged serious personal injuries. Without removing to federal court, and leveraging advantages of certain Tennessee state procedures over federal procedures, Mr. Thompson and Mr. Whitten obtained the dismissal prior to an Answer being filed and before any discovery took place. All claims against our clients, an infrastructure development company and their employee, were dismissed with prejudice.
