Lee Weatherly and Kristen Thompson represented a nursing home doctor who treated a 91-year-old post-surgical patient after hospital discharge. The patient developed complications from the surgery and was transferred back to the hospital where she ultimately died. After initially getting their client, the doctor, out of default, and after multiple years of litigation, Lee and Kristen filed a summary judgment due to a failure of Plaintiff to obtain a supporting expert.
