Lee Weatherly and Kristen Thompson’s client, an emergency room doctor was voluntarily dismissed from a medical malpractice lawsuit before defense expert depositions were conducted.  Through careful deposition preparation, their client successfully defended his medical-decision making and involvement in the care of a patient who presented to the emergency room suffering from septic shock and was being treated by a midlevel provider. Lee and Kristen established during Plaintiffs’ expert depositions that their client met the standard of care as established by the experts, resulting in his voluntary dismissal.
