Doug MacKelcan and Skyler Wilson successfully defended multiple appeals by their client’s former property manager after they obtained a judgment against the property manager for the unauthorized use of homeowners association funds.  The property manager used Doug and Skyler’s client’s funds without the client’s permission and refused to refund the association.  After obtaining a judgment against the property manager, the property manager appealed to the S.C. Court of Appeals arguing its contract with the association permitted it to use the funds.  Doug and Skyler convinced the court of appeals to affirm the judgment, but the property manager further appealed to the supreme court.  Doug and Skyler defended against the petition and the supreme court dismissed the property manager’s appeal.
