Atlanta partner Mark Lefkow successfully defended CSVL’s lawyer client in an appeal of a fee award. Plaintiff appealed the field award granted to her, arguing that she should have gotten double the fees she was awarded. CSVL cross-appealed the entire fee award for its lawyer client. The Georgia Court of Appeals rejected Plaintiff’s argument for more fees and reversed the entire fee award, holding that the lawyer (and her clients) did not engage in sanctionable conduct.
