Atlanta partner Mark Lefkow and associate Pamela Bispo da Silva won summary judgment for CSVL’s client in a federal court apartment fire case. Plaintiff alleged that a defective light fixture caused a fire in his apartment. The court excluded Plaintiff’s expert opinions as unreliable on a Daubert motion, because the expert had not excluded other potential causes and had not used reasonable methodology to form causation opinions. The court granted summary judgment to CSVL’s client for lack of evidence of causation.
