The Georgia Court of Appeals affirmed the grant of a motion for summary judgment in favor our clients, the owner and management company of an apartment complex in the Atlanta-area.  Plaintiff alleged several grounds of recovery against our clients in this negligent security case.  Specifically, Plaintiff claimed he suffered serious and long-term injuries due to two separate physical assaults against him while he resided and worked at the apartment complex.  After the trial court granted our clients’ motion for summary judgment, Plaintiff filed his appeal under separate appellate counsel and argued multiple enumerations of error.  Following persuasive briefing and a strong showing at oral argument by John, the Court of Appeals affirmed the trial court’s ruling granting of summary judgment for our clients.  John effectively argued on behalf of our corporate client from discovery, through motion to practice, and now through the Georgia Court of Appeals.
